Well Nicole has the very important job of carrying on the Lionel Ritchie legacy. I wouldn't exactly call her a heiress unless Lionel made more money from his Commodore and solo career then we can even imagine. For awhile her job was to be a celeb and Paris Hilton's BFF. If she didn't look the way she does, photographers and other media would waste the amount of ink on her that they do. At this point she is a "personality" nothing more, nothing less.
