Well that depends on who you ask. If you ask Bill Clinton who attacked an aspirin factory Yes you should. If you ask Ronald Reagan who brought down the Soviet Union than absolutely not do what you know to be right.

A President is supposed to be elected by the people and for the people (although in this case, he was originally elected by questionable electoral votes instead of popular vote). But if a President has a huge disapproval rating as our President does, he really needs to think about his decisions. Is he truly representing the best interests of his nation, or is he so tunnel vision focused on one issue that he has lost the confidence of the people he is supposed to serve?
I think that the President needs to seriously look at whether he is doing what is best for the people. Or whether he is only serving a small segment of the population.
In this case, I think he needs to rethink his national security policy.

Of coarse. Polls come from the people. The government was set up by the people, for the people. If public opinion wasn't an issue we might as well have a dictator like N. Korea.
