Hummm well i'd opt for jeans as they are more suiatable for airplanes lol..with a simple top. You can just bring a sweater with you just in case it gets too cold in the plane ;) ...and by the way high heals are a no no for airplanes..believe me lol..they are soooo uncomfortable, specially when you are carring stuffs..your hair, well since it's short enough i think you should just untie it..so when you arive to your destination it doesn't leave the elastic mark on :p..
Well hope i somehow helped lol.
Take care.

Well if your going to some place like Puerto Rico dress in a pair of shorts and a tee shirt not baggy either and bring an umbrella cause it rains a lot . so wear your hair up so u don't sweat that much
If u r goin somewhere cold throw on a couple of layers your favorite jeans then put on snow boots . you can have ur hair how ever u want

Experts recommend that you wear clothes made of a natural fabric. Wear clothes that are comfortable and flat shoes. Socks are OK, but no nylons, and NO flip-flops. Sweatsuit and sneakers are ideal. You want something that you can move in easily. Hair can be left down, or pulled back in a pony.

haha, don't wear anything special..b/c by the time your out of the plane you probably wont look like that anymore, believe me i've rode on an airplane like a million times, lol. but if you REALLY have to get dressed up, then some nice jeans, a close fitting t-shirt, some tennis shoes (DON'T WEAR FLIPFLOPS) and straighten your hair, or put it in a pony tail.

Wear lot of hair-pins ensure that they are all metallic. Wear a bra with metallic hooks. Ensure that you have metal buttons in your top and bottoms. A belt with metallic buckle and metal shielded holes would work just fine. Wear Large Earrings, nose ring, and extra large metallic body-piercings (if you have them), a heavy metallic neck-less, metallic bangles, large metallic wrist watch. Wear anklets and ensure that even your shoes have metal nails. Make sure that the Metal detector conks. By the way have you broken your limbs - go for metallic replacement.

Airplanes are cold, so:
Shirt: Half-sleeved, or short sleeved w/ jacket
Pants: Jeans, or cumfy and cute sweatpants
Shoes: flip-flops, or nice-lookin tennis shoes
Hair: If it's blow dried and straight, keep it out, but if its wet or sort of messy, put it in a ponytail. If you have side-swept bangs, keep those out and blow-dried w/ a round brush, if you don't, then make a side parting in you ponytail.
Hope this works for you!**

Blue polka-dot bikini! Oh, and a flower-top hat and leather boots.
Just kidding---wear what makes you comfortable and what gives you confidence---if you ask strangers you will get strange answers.
