On the grounds of adultary because he found my vibrator that I had hidden from him. He's terribly old fashioned and in his mind this is as good as having an affair. How can I convince him that he's being completely irrational? Thanks.

Adultry? with a vibrator? LOL Well, he'll have a hard time proving that in court. The burden of proof will be on him, and there is no where have I seen that masturbation, whether manually or mechanically, is against any law, especially any law of marriage. Anyway, if he wants to divorce you over a small thing like that, then he may have something planned in the future with someone else, and using that as an excuse.....as lame as it is. Be aware of that, and don't let yourself get hurt. It's time to get on the defensive girl, play hardball with him. If he's still irrational and still wanting a divorce.....then let him go, because there is nothing that you're going to do (other than make a fool out of yourself) that is going to make him stay. There are plenty of other fish in the sea anyway. It is better to be single and lonely, than married and miserable. Think things out thoroughly, and never act on impulse. You'll do ok......I wish you the best of luck to you.

I don't know if it would be possible to convince him of anything, because it sounds like he's a very irrational person and he's already made up his mind, anyway. I wonder if it would help if you offered to let him use the vibrator on you? Good luck!

Just because of THAT machine he wants to kick you out of his life? Sounds to me he has a 'hidden' agenda and try to use the vibrator to find your fault. Poor rabbit!
By the way, why at the 1st place you use the machine for? He might feel insecure, failure and cant keep to your standard. He maybe feel insulted. Or he 'wants' vibrator, too!:)
Give the machine away to your friends instead, keep it out from his sight and go and make love like a normal wife!
Vibrator sounds a bit lonely, freak and desperate especially when you are married!

It sounds like there is more there than just an issue of finding a vibrator. Why else does he want to leave you? Is he cheating? Are you?

If simply find a vibrator is truly all it is, then he sounds very selfish and controlling. I would recommend counseling. Good luck!

Well the fact that you hid this from him shows an intent to decieve. then the fact that you hid a vibrator means that he probably feels shocked that you think he cannot satisfy you sexually.

Now, to you and me, it's a silly little nothing over a vibrator. but to him it may be a severe betrayal and shock to finally realise that you may have needs that you have hidden from him.

Be patient with him and try to understand how hurt he will be, and see if you can be more open and honest in your communication with him in future.

If that is all no judge would grant the divorce. A marriage of any depth should not split over something so trivial. Try to work it out and if you can't, perhaps he is looking for an excuse to leave.

He doesn't seem open minded enough to play with you and the vibrator but you could give it a try.

I'd try telling him you need more loving from him so you can discard the vibrator. If he is still going to be unrealistic, leave him. Good luck.

Tell him that in that case you are going to cut off his right hand on the basis that it is like a second wife to him.

When you say it like that I'm sure he will "suddenly" come to some sort of sane realisation!

sounds like you two are not well matched in your playfulness. remind him of the term"marital aid" which is often used to describe such devices. sounds like he probably over-reacts alot. good luck with that guy. If he does divorce you, give him alittle black book that say call an amish person in it.
