Is Working at Starbucks a good job?

I have a friend that works at Starbucks and she doesn't drink coffee! It's good to know about coffee, but your work ethic is most important. Good luck with the job hunt.

I don't think you have to be a fanatic.... just have to like the smell of coffee.... and it is a fast paced job... so it would be good if you're looking for something like that...

You have to have "the look", know the lingo and yes, you need to be totally into coffee. 24/7...I'll have a Vente soy carmel macchiato. Mmmmmm.

No that is not required. You do however have to be smug and indifferent to your customers since you are so cool and work at starbucks for minimum wage.

I have no clue about coffee but I wouldn't sto myself from working there. ... I say open your mind to new things adn either way you'll learn all about coffee, I'm sure everyone who works there didn't know lots about coffee either....
