I don't think that the USA will win the next World Cup but, I do think that they will go farther up in the next one...with so many foreign people coming over, they will have a much better team...it will be a team with many different races...part of it is that so many people say that they won't win, that now nobody thinks they're good...even the coach said that they wouldn't win the Cup soon....

First of all the question should be like this...
Who thinks that the U.S.A will "win" the next world cup? Not "when."
Second, to answer your question...They will win when more effort is being put in training besides football.

I think they can absolutly win a world cup, it will probably not happen for years to come, hopefully in my lifetime. I think with Freddy Adu coming in to his prime here by the next world cup, he will spark an interest in fans that normaly do not care for futbal. Though they won't win the trophy, i do think they will get pretty far. We need more support from fans, to get money for the game which will give us more of an option for coaches, playing bigger club teams, training etc.... I say we will win one in the next 5 world cups.

Im not sure u.s.a. will win but i can gurantee they will do better. Soccer is becoming to popular in the U.S. for us not to do better. It would be nice to win, imagine beating the world in a sport thats like 5th most popular. We can dream.

may be in 2022 we can reach semifinals....!!!
interestingly we shud see where USA stands in basketball, ther shud b a world cup of that also. In last Olympics US team did really bad and setled at #3.
Baseball & Football.. no other country plays so there can't be a world cup... interesticgly .. MLB's finals are called World Series.... LOL LOL

Nope. They won't win until the whole nation starts to take soccer more seriously. Look at how terrible they did this year. It was anticipated. There is no way we will when the next one.
