If the first was anything but the first, I would have liked the second better - but as the first was the original introduction to the characters, its hard to pit the two against each other. There is always that initial love affair with characters the first time around. There have been some fantastic South Park episodes, but will anything beat the first one I saw? Probably not - because I will always remember the first connection with it to be the funniest - the most fresh.
Either way - I'm looking forward very much to Pirates of the Caribbean: World's End. :-D

Yes, I saw it. I do think the first is better than the second, but that is mostly because the second is left so open-ended, but that is because the third movie comes out next May and they have to lead into that movie.

EXCELLENT. Just saw it this weekend. There are some funny parts and of course the surprise ending. Be ready for Pirates 3 coming out in about a year. (Summer 2007)

I liked the first one better. This was was more about William Turner (Orlando Bloom's character). But I'm really excited for the third one next year! Keith Richards will finally be in it (if he stays away from climbing trees that is).

I fell in love with the second movie. The way that they put humor into a high-suspense movie. Every second of it was amazing!!

She mandatory to get Jack back so that they might carry the Brethren courtroom, so that they might combat to get rid of Beckett, who's relentlessly looking all pirates - which contain Will, who she is in love with. Get Jack back = shop Will.

I LOVED the second movie... especially the end! No spoilers, but I totally didn't see that coming! Can't wait for #3!!

I watched it. I saw it the first day! It was so good. I liked it more than the first one 2. I can't wait to see the third one.

No but I can't wait to see it the first was fantastic and I got to see all the preview edits etc. too on the double versoin. I am looking forward to a trilogy what do you think of that?

Yes. I think they put a lot more effort into the 2nd movie. Both are great but the 2nd is much more impressive.
