Which side of the bed do you sleep on?

Ok children, here's the rules.

First, are you male or female?

Now, let's say you could somehow coerce someone to sleep with you, and you, for once, got things your way. You'd be on your back. Would the other person be on your left or your right?

Finally, why do you like it that way?

They always sleep on my left. I don't like sleeping close to the door. I like to feel like my man is protecting me from anything that may come through the door.

I asked this question at work a few months ago. Most of the males answered that they slept closer to the door in case of an intruder. Most of the females said that they slept further from the door for the same reason. Both said it the actual left/right side depended on where the door is in the room. This may be because I work with law enforcement officers, but I thought it was interesting all the same. As a female, I have always slept on the inside part of the room as well.

I'm female, and my hubby always sleeps to my left.
I am NOT a morning person, so he gets to sleep alongside the window where the sun shines in first thing in the morning. Also, the alarm clock is on his side... the worst invention ever made!!!
