Detroit
WILL NOT COLLAPSE!
Plain and simple.
Because of Jim Leyland. He has the heart and soul of a winner, and will not let that happen.
Even if we play .500 ball the rest of the way---that's 96 wins.
I think they win 100 or better.
the yankees, of course, will continue to LOSE and NOT even make the playoffs.....that will start a streak of 96 years with no playoff appearances for the yankees!!!

Detroit will collapse. Cleveland will get better, but the white sox will end up on top.
Rangers will collapse, angels will get better, and will win the west.
Yankees and Red Sox will battle until the end of the season.
In the NL, the Mets will cool off, but will still win. Astros will get hot and win the central. NL West...I have no idea how to figure out that division...anyone?

The Yankees and Mets will continue to collapse as they have usually done recently. The Detroit Tigers and the Padres and the Cardinals will all rise to take their respective divisions second half.
Have to call them as I see them.

all you morons who have already counted the braves out, watch out! chipper, andruw, marcus giles, and francouer are all red hot right now. they've won 8 of their past 11, and you don't win FOURTEEN straight division titles by accident. the braves WILL make a run at the division, or at the very least, a wild card, but don't count them out of the division race as so many of you already have, it's only the all star break for christ's sake. just ask the 1993 dodgers, who had a 13 1/2 game lead at the break.....guess what? they watched the playoffs at home while the braves advanced. print this answer out all you naysayers and wipe your tears with it in october when the braves are still playing and your beloved mets or reds or whoever are sitting at home.

I am a Red Sox fan and I think the Yankees will get over their injuries and win the division. Also, the Tigers will end up out of the race.

1. the reds unless they get some pitching!
2. astros will rise if they pick up another bat to protect beckman!
3. phillies if they get some pitching!
4. angels just needs to get in the game. most likely with finish strong!
5. yankees if they get a starting pitcher and a outfielder. also, a-rod might finish strong!
6. twins need another bat and they could finish strong as well.
7. everybody is waiting for the tigers to fade but they just might surprise everybody. they need to stay injury free and their pitching needs to hold up!
