Then you cannot do so legally. Using Outlook as your client would require POP access to your Yahoo Mail account, which is one of the big benefits of upgrading to a premium account. Any other "trick" to let you do this is almost surely violating the Terms of Service.

Unfortunately you can't with the basic US accounts. However, the UK accounts will work fine. If you have a UK Yahoo account you then just need to put in:
POP3 Mail Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP Mail Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Username: x (where x is the bit to the left of yahoo.com/co.uk)
Password: your password
I don't know why US accounts have this restriction but UK ones don't. Easiest way would be to set up forwarding on the US account and open a new UK one which you can use with Outlook.

where do you live? in canada you don't have to upgrade to use outlook to get your yahoo mail. that is weird. ok, well sign into yahoo email, click on the arrow beside the mail tab, select options, select pop3 and forwarding. Click the link that says "need help?", this will tell you the pop3 and smtp servers to enter in outlook to receive your mail there. Run the outlook setup wizard and fill this information into the pop3 and smtp sections. should be good to go. I really don't think you should have to upgrade your yahoo, but i guess that depends on what country you live in???

i'm so sorry.... some thing comparable happened to a chum on right here. i think of what's so ridiculous is that the outcomes are so extreme for UNSUBSTANTIATED courtroom circumstances. it would be one factor if that they had some type of merely monitoring device for looking down trolls and the nasty human beings, yet curiously every physique can document a man or woman for any type of Q or A they discover even vaguely demanding. Then in case you get adequate of those, your account is suspended or deleted. that's stupid. this is like getting the dying penalty for acquiring a undeniable kind of rushing tickets. this is exceptionally incorrect while it happens to those that're fairly good individuals, not in user-friendly terms in # of solutions, yet in high quality too, which yours of course have been.
