A baby is way too small at 7 days to see. I had an ultrasound at 4 weeks and it was just the size of a man's shirt button and it was only a small set of bumps (no head, face etc), but by the 8th week I could see a real tiny human being.
I don't think they could see a baby at 7 days gestation age.

The fetus is extremely small at this point, when you have a pelvic ultrasound at 6-8 weeks along, it's about the size of grape. That's why they wait until 8 weeks to do the first ultrasound, so they can get a decent view.

Depending on how far along you are, and wither or not you know the first day of your last period, which is how the doctors make an educated guess as to when your due date is and how far along you are.
If you just conceived seven days prior to the ultrasound, I do not believe the doctors would be able to see. About all they would be looking for at that time is a little black circle in the uterus..
They usually wait a little longer and the larger the baby gets then they try to make a better educated guess as to how far along you are.
If you are unsure as to wither or not you are pregnant then I suggest a blood test and or wait a little longer and then take a store bought test.
good luck
hope this helped.

Drs can see the embryo about 5 or 6 weeks into the pregnancy and that is about 3 to 4 weeks after conception, so, no I don;t think that they would be able to see it that early< something similar happen to me, I had an ultrasound ( 'cause I had a couple of ovarian cysts)and couple of weeks later a PT came back positive now they are gonna perform another US in a couple of weeks.
Good Luck and God bless!

no, i don't think so. I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks gestation and they said the baby looked like a pea on the screen.

It will be too soon to be able to tell the difference between pregnancy and other conditions such as endometrial hyperplasia which will look the same - a slightly enlarged uterus...

That would be way too early. Chances are, the baby would still be traveling down your fallopian tube and wouldn't have even implanted yet.

It's likely, this early, that the egg hasn't even implanted itself yet. If the Dr knew to look, he may be able to find it, but it'd be tricky.
