Generally the doctors will tell you to try for a year before going to see about infertility. If infertility runs in your family or your husband's family they say 6 months. It's not always easy to conceive. Be patient and try not to stress about it. Eat healthy, if you smoke then stop, if you drink... drink less! Take your pre-natal vitamins now (they're good for you and they'll create a great place for baby later!) and just keep doin' it! Have fun, keep trying and don't worry so much!!

It doesn't hurt to see your doc. I tried for one month I documented my BBT and found that I did not have the rise I thought there was a chance I was not ovulating. Sure enough I was correct after tons of lab work my doctor put me on clomid. We are still trying I will find out on Thur. from a blood test if I conceived this month. This will be my second cycle of 50 mg clomid.

It really depends on how old you are... In any case a pre-conception work up with your doc is a great idea. The going advice is if you're over 35 and don't become pregnant afer 6 cycles see your doc!

Wait until you have been trying for a bit longer before worrying about infertility! My aunt and uncle tried for 5 months before she got pregnant!
Try working out when you are ovulating! And have sex during that time!
Most regular women ovulate 7 days after their last period! (14 days BEFORE their next period!
Why not try then!
Good Luck!

If your in your 20's... wait a total of 1 year.
If your in your 30's... wait a total of 6 months.
If your in your 40's... go to the Dr. now.
Just seems to make sense that the younger you are the more time you have... =)

here, the practice is, before you get married, you have to take a fertility test first...
so why wait for a year... have a test now... its better to know now
