Why did Roger Federer put on a blazer after he won Wimbledon?

The blazer was especially made for him by Nike. He wore onto Centre Court for his first match against Richard Gasquet, and he wore it all throughout the tournament.

He has worn that blazer after every match in Wimbledon. I am not sure if its his Wimbledon coat for winning or if he just does it to look nice or it could be his "lucky jacket". Jacket or not Roger Federer is the BEST player in the ATP tour as of now

It was his, because he won Wimbledon last year. If you hear when he was talking to the camera, he said that Nike had to put another prong on the pocket because he won 4 Wimbledon's, not three anymore. He always wore it onto and off all of the courts he was on.

FYI: The jacket he's wearing for Wimbledon was specifically crafted for this tournament. It was made by Nike, his kit supplier, which has a crest that includes a tuft of grass, the Swiss cross, the symbol for his Leo star sign, an F for his surname, and three racquets which represent his three Wimbledon titles.

It was designed for him by his clothing sponsor Nike. It was a little amusing, but at least he didn't play in it. Maybe it will become a tradition, like the green jacket in golf's Masters tournament. lol

It was his own blazer.I had thought that it was given to him for winning Wimbledon.But he seems to have had it custom made with his own initials on the breast pocket.
McEnroe wore it during the wrap-up show one night.
