Chances are, yes they would. If you're under the age of 18, you are considered a minor, which means you're not old enough, or smart enough to make your own decisions. And considering you got pregnant, it's 100% true for you. You need to tell your parents you're pregnant. They'll be mad, but they'll appreciate your honesty. They can help you. They're your parents and they love you. Even though you screwed up. And think about it, if they have to find out from a doctor's office calling them or by accident later on (if you somehow manage to get around telling them) they're going to be so much madder than they'll be now.

some states are different but i know here in NJ you can be under 18 without a parent for birthcontrol , i think you need to bring someone over 18 with you for an abortion because how else are you going to get home? also to sign a witness paper, if you use your parents insurance they will find out

it all depends on the state that you live in and how old you are some states require parental consent for an abortion if you are under 18 but if you are over 18 then they cannot tell you what to do and will not find out if you do not tell them

Depending on your age and your state, check with planned parenthood. many states allow the procedures without parent consent.
Now that that is said and done I want to add that you will need the help and support afterward and are you sure you don't want to tell your parents so they can help you with the right decision. Abortion is a hard decision to live with and there are so may other choices have you thought of them all.

I don't know if your parents would find out but I would strongly suggest speaking to them. If your parents are good parents then they will want to know and help. They will probably be upset by the news but here is your chance to be responsible and mature. Let them know and let them help. As others have said, please consider other options, instead of abortion. There are better ways to handle this.

some clinics will perform this procedure without parents consent. Most are probably illegal clinics. Please I am asking you as a mother, don't do it. Talk to your parents, give the baby up for adoption. If my daughter were to get pregnant I would rather be upset at her and let her have the innocent baby than kill it. There is nothing like carrying that beautiful life inside you. having a baby is truly a blessing whether planned or unplanned. every life should be given a chance. god has given you this miracle. your parents might be upset at first but will be excited when they have a new precious life to hold.

If you are minor (under the age of 18) then your parents will need to know. Should have thought about that before laying down doing adult things.

well shes OBVIOUSLY from Iowa look at her name.. and ya you should tell your parents since in Iowa the abortion for a minor requires parents consent by signature which can easily be forged but it will show up on the insurance statement. in which case your probably not in the best of positions. : )

It depends on the state you are in.... But I don't advise you doing that... It is very dangerous, there are alot of hack doctors that can kill you or prevent you from ever having children again.....And you will be so sorry, if you live through it.... Please just go to your parents, they love you, and would you want them to live with the pain of losing a daughter?! I have been through this with my daughter, and we are getting through this but we are keeping our baby, and we love that baby and are so excited for it to be born.... Really, what ever you decide , make the right choice because this can change your and your family's lives forever.....Good luck sweetie....

It depends on your state. Usually no.
Call the nearest Planned Parenthood for advice and responsible family planning. Unplanned pregnancy is preventable.
