say, "Hey, how's it going?" That usually instigates a short conversation. Keep talking to him from time to time and eventually he'll prolly start the conversations too.
or if you just wanna get his attention and nothing more, go into the pricipal's office, get on the PA system and yell his name. hahahaha, sorry, had to add that on there. lol.

Speak in whole and proper sentences with... diction, and grammar etc? But if you really want to know how to get his attention be yourself, he if can't like you for you, then he isn't worth the time or the effort.
