If so, what is YOUR favorite line, or part of the movie?

How cool to see this question today. I watched this on DVD over the weekend yet again. This is honestly one of my all time favorite films. It’s a parody of Homer’s “The Odyssey” and that in itself is genius. The Coens are long time friends of the Raimis and the cabin in the film is modeled after the cabin from “Evil Dead” in homage. All that aside it’s still a fantastic film. The writing is witty and comical and I still laugh. The acting is superb and the film has numerous memorable lines.

Delmar O'Donnell: "We thought you was a toad!"

...and the title is "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" not "Oh..." :D

I LOVE "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?"!!! The show is a huge hit in my opinion. It is clever, written with lots of wit, and it has a great cast. My favorite line from the movie is "Momma says he's bonafide"!!! I love those little girls too death & that part gets me smiling every time I watch it.

Absolutely brilliant, from beginning to end. My favorite part has to be Big Dan giving them a "Bible" lesson! It's my favorite Coen Brothers movie - great writing, terrific acting and a clever plot. Who knew George Clooney could REALLY act!?

They both were made to reference and pay homage to other things. OBWAT? Pays tribute to The Oddesy, while Star Wars pays tribute to westerns, samurai movies, fantasies, science fictions, the Roman empire, WW2, British 60's horror movies, War of the Worlds, among others...

It was a pretty good movie. I liked the part where they met the sirens at the river.

it was kind of like Napolean Dynomite......youll either love it or hate it depending on your level of intelligence. I loved both movies. My favorite part of the movie is when they recorded "I am a man (of constant sorrow)" in the studio with the black guy.

There are so many . . .

"And, stay outta Woolworth's"
"I don't want Fop, god d*******! I'm a Dapper Dan man!"
"I've said my piece and counted to 3."
"We've got to R-U-N-N-O-F-T!"
"Gopher?"
"Friend, some of your foldin' money's come unstove."
"Well, I'm with you fellers."
"She loved him up and turned him into a toad"
'It's an exercise in psychology"
"Are any of you gentlemen trained in the metallurgic arts?"

I could go on all day . . . thanks for the laugh.
