On French radio this morning they said that he "allegedly" called Zidane a terrorist. They were trying to confirm it. Whatever the circumstances, it was a very unfortunate incident for all concerned.

Knowing the short temper of Zidane, Meterazzi said something very bad, perhaps some remark (racial or personal attack) to make Zidane angry. What I feel this is intentional.

nobody knows what matarazzi said to zidane. but whatever it was made zidane mad enough to do a stupid thing like that. but no matter how insulting the comment was, zidane needs to be able to control himself especially in the world cup final. zidane just lost his temper and even if the comment wasn't that bad, then zidane needs to kep his anger inside of him. in a game where everyone's tired, people lost their temper but what zidane did was just outrageous. im surprised he still got the Golden Ball...
