Advice in pregnancy is some common that it alone should be listed as a symptom along with the expanding belly. In this vein we see Pregnancy myths, or old wives tales, that have been passed on from generation to generation.
Old wives tales abound in pregnancy. Some are hilarious and funny to pass along, while others can be down right dangerous to your health. Urban Legends Guide, David Emery and I have created articles on several different "legends" surrounding, pregnancy, birth and babies.

Drano mixed with urine will tell you if you're having a girl or a boy.
The baby's heart rate will determine the gender.

i can give some tales on the subject but nothing on how to tell. like if the woman is on top during the act u have a boy or the guy on top its a girl (i know what happens if u do it doggie). or dont tickle a babys foot while feeding. or use coke up there to prevent becoming preggo after the deed.

First of all you're really brave to have sex unprotected but here's the deal. After you get ****** real good and the nut is inside you put about two pillows under your butt and hold your legs straight up for like 10 minutes so the sperm can go straight to your ovries.

Take a test, those "Wife's Tales" don't really work! Just go to target and buy the $3 test, it's worth it!

And then there's the old needle trick... it's supposed to tell you how many children you'll have, what the sex is, and if you'll have twins, etc.

"Old Wives Tales" And they don't mean anything. I carried high, my sister-in-law carried low, and my friend carried right out front and in the middle. We all had boys.

the "natural glow" is due to increased blood flow to your face and lips. hair gets fuller and shinier as well.
scientist think this was supposed to keep one's mate around during more primitive times.
