Get rid of any standing water in the neighborhood that you can find.
To keep them from biting, Place vinegar in a spray bottle and spray yourself. Close your eyes when spraying head, face and neck. When the vinegar dries, it will have no odor to you, but will still repel the mosquitoes.
I find this to be the easiest way to apply the vinegar, but you can also just wet a washcloth with it and rub it over yourself.
cheap and effective. Give it a try. Works for the Poor animals too.

insure there is no standing water. there are misquito rpellent grasses at the nurseries, get a bird feeder to attract birds, birds eat misquitos. some county extensions have a tablet to place in ponds etc to kill larvae if there is an overabundance. I have them at my house also. avoid dusk. the misquitos come out as the sun goes down . you can use spray repellent, and eat garlic , do not wear perfume or cologne. good luck

if you keep plants in water in pots around the house, put 5 drops of kerosine into the water. If there is water being collected outside, put kerosine into them too. and while you are at it, get some of those carnivourous plant, they eat the flies too.

mosquitos are very annoying you need to buy citrinalla candles and bug spray you can go to your local hardware store and buy spray that you can hook to you garden hose to spray your lawn to get rid of them even faster
