What do you think will happen to the love triangle? What about Captain Jack?

Captain Jack Sparrow isn't dead, he can't be. That wouldn't make it worth while and would cause a serious loss of ratings, viewings and money at the next film. Plus when he got eaten / swallowed up by that monster he had his sword out ;-)
I liked PotC2, it was great to watch, funny and just awesome really. Kiera got to snog/kiss BOTH Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp which was certainly a shock, lol.
I don't know what will happen to the 'love triangle' but I'm gonna have to watch the next film as soon as it's out.
Apparently they've already made it too.

I liked the film a lot. Not bad following a great first film.
Barbossa is resurrected and captains a crew to reclaim Jack, I guess. Jack may have or have not died but if Barossa can be brought back why not Jack?
Love triangle? The only people who love each other in the film are Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. Elizabeth only kissed Jack to chain him to the ship to die. That isn't a love triangle…unless she has something for the undead monkey as well as Will.

For those who say there was no love triangle you obviously did not watch the movie. When Jack has the compass we are told that it only points to what you really want. When Elizabeth has it it always points to Jack and when he has it it points to Elizabeth. Yes she kisses him to chain him up but if you know anyting about women you can tell that is not the only thing going on in that kiss. If it was she would not have lingered so long after he was chained. You cold also see how upset she was about doing that and the thought of him dying.
Captain Jack is not going to die. If the monkey and Brabosa are still alive then Jack is too.

The movie was okay - not anywhere near as good as the first. I think she stays with Will but Jack will always be dancing around the edges tempting her to unleash her inner " bad girl". They will travel to the "Ends of the Earth" to get Jack back, that's movie #3 which is already in production & will be released next summer & then there will be something in that one to leave it wide open for movie #4!! The characters on the Flying Dutchmen were gross & I think it was way overdone. I didn't understand that whole thing with Jack being the god & the natives eating him, either. Maybe if I catch it on dvd & watch it a couple of times it will make more sense, but on the whole I was glad when it was over. I thought it was great the way they brought Barbossa back, tho!! & I love it that my favorite character was in the sequel - the dude with the freaky fake eyeball!!! he's hysterical!

PC2 was simply a set-up for "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (due for release in 2007).
It was a 4 on a scale of ten.
I did enjoy the love triangle, but overall, it was not as good as the first.
I could have saved a lot of $$$ and just waited to rent the DVD.

Well, Jack isn't dead because he's credited on the cast list for the third installment coming in May 07. The movie was long, but really good. I especially like the last shot after the credits where the tribal people where worshiping the dog. Hillarious!!

i thought it was awesome, i mean the ending was a total cliffhanger but it's supposed to be, the third one is already being shot! Jack Sparrow HAS to be alive. he can't die, that would be so wrong. no, he's gonna be FINE. in my opinion there IS no love triangle, Elizabeth and Will are gonna end up together, she just kissed Jack to trap him on the ship. she couldn't do that to will! if you want to look at some stuff about the third movie go to imdb.com and look it up!

Ok here is what I think: JAck will come back and he and Barbosso will team up and kill the Flying dutchman crew. Bootstrap Bill will be re-united with Will and they will all go back to wherever it was that Elizibeth came from. As for the love triangle, Will will marry Elixibeth and Jack will marry ME!!!

Well I thought it was an awsome movie!!! But I hope in the end that elizabeth and her will , will end up together!! And I'm sure captian Jack will pull through without a scratch. Maybe at the end he will be with his mates and ride off for more adventures.

I loved it. I thought it was so exciting and adventurous. Elizabeth will definitely end up with Will, and Jack is definitely alive. I already can't wait for #3.
