i just realized that all my friends are gone and i don't have anyone to go with me.
i've never done anything like this before. should i try it?

Alone and with people are two entirely different experiences. If you have nerve been alone, you should definitely try it. You can take a towel or something to sit on, maybe a book and just enjoy. Or you can take almost nothing and just walk and swim. No matter what, the beach is always fun.

It all depends on your personality. Do you make new friends easily? Will you enjoy your trip if even you end up sitting alone on the beach reading a book?
Honestly, I don't think you have anything to lose by trying it. Go alone, and try to meet some new people or just use the time to relax and not do much of anything - whatever would be the most interesting to you. Keep an open mind, and don't give up too quickly if things don't seem to be going as you'd wished. Sometimes the best time of your life starts out as one of the most boring.

Sure you should try it. You don't need your friends to go out and have fun. I mean,how can you go to the beach and not have fun?? Bring a good book with you, so you have something to read in case you get bored. And who knows-you may meet some people and make some new friends- you can never have enough friends!!!! Even if you don't its no big deal.

Of course you should go!!!! You dont need to depend on anyone to do anything!!!! Why should you deprive yourself when your friends are out doing their own thing without you??? Besides you never know who you will meet while you are there. Be independent and do what you want to do. You dont need an entourage to go with you every time you want to go somewhere. Bring a book, some music and enjoy yourself!!! Dont hold yourself back for someone else because they wont hold back for you.

If I were you ...NEVER..!
you better go to a cafe or something.
I was ones alone on the beach of Boracay, Philippines and I was about to kill myself..!
However, if you got something like a book or a laptop, then you can prepare your coffee mug or Ice bag and take the fastest road..!

Sometimes doing things solo can be fun... and extremely relaxing. Take some sunscreen, lay out in the sun, read a book, and chat with other people. You may be surprised at how enjoyable it can be!

If you have nothing better to do, then yes. Plus you can always make the beach fun on your own.

No you should't go alone. you will feel bored. Bring some friends along on the ride with you. By having more friends the more fun you will or can have.
