a cable modem has rj45 for connections

also called cat5 or catergory 5 cable

Yup, just plug it in to a cat 5 cable. If you have a wireless card, you will likely need a wireless router for that too work.. Hope this helps!

Yeah.

A Cat5 (network) cable would run from the modem to your lan card.

Would work great.
