good morning feel good and what a beautiful day it is.
THEy owe there lives to war .THE very idea of you makes them sick.YOU must learn that they have years of indoctrination behind them .EVIL EMPIRE star wars mass hypnotic suggestion that the dark side must be defeated. So words like EVIL EMPIRE ring in the heads of americans and we rally around the idea we can defeat the terrorist's."an evil empire" "BRING IT ON" is used by wrestlers on T.V. which is popular among americans.Slogans like these and others are points used to drum a message home with americans and show how easily we are led by catch phrases and simplistic ideas of war .WHEN in-fact thousnads of soldiers will suffer from our battle cry to war.
ANY leader who takes us to war must be watched closely and when ties to his administration began to surface of there deep level of involvement in the defense contrating business and fund to rebuild IRAQ the war should of come to a quick close regardless of the implications that would of surfaced and the american people should of apoligized to the world for its actions and replaced our leaders.
We have the ability to end in-justice and wars for profit which this clearly is and payed for by my tax dollars as i have no connection to war or the jobs developed over the last 50 years that promote war.I choose my clients who i work for and by trippling the average pricce have liitle intrest from those who would make a living off killing others.IT is said to think my taxes are going to a war i never supported.
I DO wonder if bush and his saudi buddies did not have something to do with 9-11 but hope this is just wild speculation on my part .I would hate to be able to forum a direct link to our government and probably ignore some information that points to this . COULD they have prevented it i do not think so but was it suggested that the timing was right maybe.
WITH bush as a lame duck president who in the eye's of many stole the election spending all his time on vacation had 9-11 not occured would he have been able to do the damage he has done over the last 4 years .So many laws have been changed in order to promote the explotation of america at the hands of business that we have just not noticed the impact of bushes real agenda .he increased taxes on working americans and lowered them on the rich .this is not some idle ramblings all you have to do is pull up the pdf of irs tax tables and see the tax increase to people making less then 35,000 a year .IT is not much but any increase is wrong when you go on tv every week and tell america you are lowering taxes unless you beleive that workers are the only tax payers in the first place .

Well, If we pull out now we will create even more instability in the region, probably leading to another terrorist or religously controlled state(Iran). It is by all means a quagmire, as much as the Vietnam War was. The problem I believe is that we cannot pull out, as we would rather cap off the problem now then have it fester and become more of a problem later on. We can pull out when we have created a government and police force that is able to handle insurgents, corruption, and outside threats. Until then we will be forced to stay there. I do not agree with the war but for the United States,Middle Easts, and Worlds sake I say we stay there until a safe resolution can be had.

What 'quagmire'? Isn't that someone else's line?

Actually, based on all the facts, not just the snippets the media give you to paint a false picture, our efforts in Iraq have been quite successful. For the most part, most of Iraq is living in growing economic prosperity and peace, safer, freer and with more water, electricity, schools, hospitals and products than at any time under Saddam.

The Iraqi government and military continues to grow in capability.

The insurgents and terrorists are being killed at increasing rates, as they have less and less support from the people.

No, not only wasn't it a 'mistake', it's not a 'quagmire', by any reasonable definition. Sorry, but most of us know better.

Just remember, the current president sets up the presidency for the next president. Clinton had it easy because of Reagonomics. Clinton put us in this position due to his inability to act on a number of important things. Opportunities to catch/kill UBL, lost. Inaction towards Iraq, and terrible management of N. Korea. Remember, Iraq was not helping it's situation. Saddam would not work with the UN security council and didnt let inspecters in for a number of years. This quagmire you speak of began after Clinton gave is oath and unfortunately gave rise to 9/11 which happened nearly immediately after Clinton left office.

Bush has done well with the cookies that have been given to him. Just remember that, while you couldnt initially predict the outcome of the war in Iraq, that country needs us right now or its going to become an even more serious situation if we leave. The Iraqi Gov will be over thrown and our chance at having a solid ally in the ME in the future will be gone.

If memory serves us all, we gave UBL weapons and money but neglected to support him when they fought off the Russians during the Afghan war. He fought the communists while we secretly aided him without TRUE support. This fueled his hatred that nearly 25-30 years later brought down the towers. Lets not go over and play with other's toys this time until we clean it up.

Sgt Cech is right sort of. It was not a mistake to go in but it was not because Saddam was a threat either. People think that the oil excuse is such a cliche' but its the truth. Oil is peeking right now, meaning it is running out. We are in a power grab to get as much of the oil in that region as possible, Gold and Drugs as well. All these things run our Economy. If we do not get to it before China it runs the risk of China becoming more powerful then us in the future. Our Government will never let that happen. This whole war on terror is the same thing as the war on Drugs. It is a scam. Its all about staying in control of the world. This is just the beginning. In 10 years when the oil runs out then you will see some serious Sh*T

Still dont think it was a mistake and do not think it is a quagmire. The 20k Saddam was paying families of suicide bombers for killing Israelis, the torture and maiming he was conducting on women and specifically female Doctors, the use of chemical warfare on his own people, the ties with Al Queda (and if you dont think there were/are ties than you are an idiot)...these are all reasons that were good enough for me. And to call it a quagmire, I dont think so. What can be better than having your trained Marines sit in a central location and having terrorists from around the world come to them to get shot. Oops, I am sorry, they are not terrorist...insurgents.

Yeah, i will admit Democrats have made blunders, too. :) i do no longer know if I qualify as a "neocon" to you... maximum widely, I see the term as a generic insult to somebody who's a Republican, so i might. if so, then sure, President Bush and different Republican politicians have made blunders. a reasonably great one grew to become into the followup to the defeat of Iraq, or maybe in the present day the protection tension isn't doing adequate on the digital fringe of counterinsurgency (getting suggestion out, employing the internet effectively, etc.). The nomination of Harriet Miers grew to become right into a significant "WTF" 2d in my opinion. He did no longer do adequate to push the particularly some motives for going into Iraq, whether the suggestion is there to be got here across, surely, if one cares to look. He spent too a lot political capital on his attempt to restructure Social protection. those are some, off the precise of my head. i think of between the huge issues that gets knee-jerk reactions protecting the President is the close to-chronic assaults that attempt to lift blunders and difference of comments into criminal strikes. Has he made blunders? Yeah, quite. Has he committed crimes? no longer that i would be certain, and that i see no problem with problematical those assertions.

How can you admit something was a "mistake" when it wasn't/isn't?

American presence in Iraq will continue for some time. Once Liberals in America realize this and start to support efforts instead of sabotage them things will move along much faster.

We are there. We aren't leaving. Get over it.

What quagmire? WMDs found. Saddam has been captured. His two vile sons have been killed. And it turns out the CIA was right...Saddam had his hands in Al Qaeda!
And now that your bud Al Zarqawi is dead Al Qaeda will begin to fall apart in Iraq!

Sorry neo-cons are the new carpetbaggers. They do not have the ability to admit faults.

You could catch a neo-con Red handed stealing your grandmothers pension check. And they would say "Oh I thought that was a donation to the Bush Fund."

Mistake? We have found WMDs and found terrorists.

Quagmire? More US lives were taken on the streets of Chicago last year! Shall we pack up the police force there and run away too?
