Italy seems closer geographically to Africa. Is the Italian team racist? They seem to have zero players of African descent. The French team has many. This does not seem like a coincidence.

First. It has nothing to do with Where they come from...
It's just that black people are good runners(they can run faster and have a very good endurance...) and are very good athletes...
If they were no good for sports, there wouldn't be no black people in sport !
Examples : Carl Lewis, Mike Jordan, Magic Johnson, Harlem Globe Trotters, Karim Abdul Jadbhar, Mike Tyson, Mohamed Ali(Casius Clay), OJ Simpson(just as an athlete, not as a trouble maker...), etc, etc, ...
These are a few examples of famous black sportsmen who became best in their field bcoz of their qualities and not bcoz of their skin color...
Everywhere there are black people, there is quality sport, that's a fact !
And, to be completely honest, it could be related to racism... I can't believe that in Italy, where the % of black people is about the same as any other European country, there is not ONE good black football player ! ! !

The turth is this: since France has so many black players they are apparently not racist but are giving those players the opportunity to prove themselves. A big question resulting from that is that if France has many black players because many African countries are former French colonies, whatever happened to England? How many blacks have they ever fielded on their national football squads? Perhaps this is why England is doing so poorly!

It is certainly obvious that the Italians are racist, and this has been going on for centuries. That is the reason why they did what they did to the french players because they were all black and they couldn't stand to see an all black team bring home the Cup. As i said earlier France don't go to world cup 2010 because they fought you out as how they did to the African teams.

All you have to do is watch a gangster movies Goodfellas for example and watch how the Italians talk about black people.
The directors of those films are expressing some Italian concern for intermingling and all. Obviously, Italy is a little racist towards blacks. Not only in Hollywood but I have Italian friends who are quite proud of their bias. One guy said they have at least 12 derogatory words in Italian. I know alot of this comes in jest but who knows its still horrible... and people give France the business. If I was a minority I would never want to live in Italy.

What is funny about it, is the fact that the French hate their immigrants specially the Northern African ones!! but when they are playing for their national team they are more French than the French!!!! France is the most hypocrite country I have ever been!!

That is because France had a couple of African colonies way back, so many of the black people who lived there moved to France, and up to these days there is a lot of inmigration of these old colonies, which are now independent countries, to France.

France had several colonies in Africa, its citizens are also
French citizens, Italy had non until the 1930s when it
invaded Ethiopia and Eritrea which it Iater lost in W.W. II

It has to do with history. France has many former colonies in Africa and The Caribbean. Italy is not a former colonial power.

In France team most of them are black that is true.
But they are not originally from France. They are from some colonies or something.
And no way Italy are racist. If you don't have black player in the team it doesn't means that they are racist! ffs
For example in my country Macedonia everyone is white( except for some strangers that came to my country).
So in our soccer team everyone is white! And that doesn't mean that we are racist!
