mp4 digital players?

I have seen a lot of MP4 players on Ebay, that are not ipod, are they legit? They appear cheap for the amount of memory. Are they other it?

Some are a bargain...and some are just cheap. I would look for them in a store to take a test drive before you buy. When I was in Thailand I saw plenty of "iPods" that were certainly not genuine. Good luck ;)

I don't think so, regular iPods are better anyways! (I have a 30GB iPod Video, no regrets!)
