We are going in October and staying at the Bellagio. Would like to hear comments about it if anybody has stayed there before. Are minimum bids at the casino similar to others, or is it more expensive?

I've been there and played there but not stayed there. Yes it is more expensive than most casinos with higher table limits.

Frankly if you have to ask, you should probably stay somewhere just a little cheaper. They money you save on the room and the lower table limits would translate to more spending money to enjoy the shows and gambling.

Yes I have stayed there. The room was nice but nothing special and I didn't think any better than rooms at Mandalay Bay, Rio, and Ceasers. I did not think it was worth the additional price. I had a better room in Ceasers.

I do like playing in Bellagios because it is generally not crowded and they have plenty of space between tables and slots. Bellagios will not have $2.00 tables and you may never get a seat at a $5.00 table. If you play there you will probably have to settle for $10 tables, especially on weekends and at night.

Did stay there once--it was very nice, try to get an upgraded room facing the fountains. The pool area is real nice and in October it will be perfect weather for laying out. Not sure on the exact mimimum bids, however it probably is more since it's a more expensive hotel.
They also have fabulous restaurants, my fave is Jasmines--nice atmosphere it faces the fountains (as do all the restaurants) and has soothing green and yellow butterfly wallpaper.
Location is also great, right in the middle of the strip. Have fun!

Yes I have stayed there and it is a excellent hotel overall. My favorite aspect is the pool area - some parts private - and not open to the general public.

When I was there last (2 months ago) I did see $10 blackjack tables so yes the minimums are the same as others and they have the 25 cent slots etc (I have stayed at Wynn, Harrahs, Imperial, MGM, Luxor, Mirage etc).

What you will get that is more expensive is their restaurants and room rates.

Things are definitely more expensive at the Bellagio but worth it if you can afford it. Be sure to check out the Sharks.

ive been there once. it s a beautiful place to say - truly italian, and reminiscent of old-world charm. If you like old-fashioned luxury its definitely the place to stay. i loved it.
