So, I've been posting on here, my husband and I are trying to have another baby ( this will be our last) I am not on birth control and we arent using condoms. I have been spotting off and on for a little over a week, before we did anything yesterday morning my spotting was light and bright, but we had unprotected intercourse anyways, and I havent spotted since. Its been almost 24 hours since intercourse, does anyone think the sudden change in NOT spotting could be because I concieved?. I know you cant take a home pregnancy test or even a blood test until 10 days after a suspected conception. Has anyone gotten pregnant this way? Advice and opinions is GREATLY appreciated!

You may have the possibility of being pregnant but the best idea is to go to the store and get a pregnancy test. There are some tests that you can take right away.

my opinion, no this does not mean you are prego. Because you are not using birth control as you have in the past your body is getting accustomed to not having any protection. you know most condoms if that is what you were using before are lubricated. with out them you may just need some lubrication to stop the friction burns, which most likely is why you are bleeding. Its 100% natural to get friction burns any time you do something different sexually. Normally you would not spot longer than a few hours but depending on the force used I am sure you could spot for a while. Don't get too excited. If you are concerned any ob/gyn can tell you with in 24hrs if you are pg

When was your last period? If it was about 14 days ago then you were ovulating. You could be pregnant. If you are due for your period, then you could still be pregnant. I am pretty sure that stopping spotting is not a sure sign of pregnancy. The semen could just be mixing with the spotting so you don't see the spotting. You are right, test in about 10 days. Good luck and I firmly believe the less you think about it the more possible it is.

It's too early to tell if you're pregnant. You very well could be, but try not to get your hopes up yet. Keep trying for the next few weeks and see what happens. The non-spotting thing could just be a coincidence, and nothing more, so just keep at it! Take a test in a couple of weeks and let us know how it turns out!!

Good luck!!

you very well could be..... conception and implantation bleeding can happen as soon as 24 hours and as late as 7 days.... now just wait for the other seldom signs b /c if pregnancy did occur then some signs are soon to follow like fatigue, headaches etc.
Though I'd wait 14 days from this last sexual intercourse to take a preg. test so that it will be more accurate and that way you won't have a false negative and be disappointed.

Because of the spotting it is hard to say. Guess you should hold out til the pregnancy test. Good Luck to you both.
