I mean I never get bored of their songs and Kurts lyrics and melodies. Like they are the only band along with Pink Floyd I feel like this towards, even some beatles songs get boring although they are still legendary. For example Lithium, I can just listen to that song all day and also a lot of Nirvana songs that are on albums that some ppl might not have heard like School, or Dive or even maybe about a girl are just great songs. I just wanted to know if anyone likes Nirvana as their best band and like feels that will always be the case

I have been obsessed with Nirvana since I was three, and I feel the same way. Seeming I've been listening to them all my life, you would think I would get tired of them. But I don't. I'm not sure whether it's the energy I feel with the music, the emotions I expierence with the lyrics, or just the lovelyness of Nirvana all together, but they will and and always have kept me listening. It's tragic they can't continue to make music together. <33

They were a great band and Kurt Cobain was an incredibily talented songwriter. Nevermind sounded like a revelation when it first came out because it was such a departure from all the 80s pop music that came before it...over-produced Brit pop, metal hair bands, etc.
I love the MTV unplugged concert, never get tired of it!

It depends on how old you are. I'm 20 but I remember the day Kurt Died as a kid. Nevermind was my cd ever. With no offense it has to do with the catchyness and angst. It was perfect for its time and really it always will be. Lithium is a good song I was just listening to Breed the other day :D.

I love Nirvana too. I think Kurt was a really exciting person... yes, he had his major problems, but he was just so creative. I think Nirvana is, by far, one of the best bands... most influencial and all that... and by comparison they haven't been around all that long.

I really don't think that age has anything to do with it. You like the music because you do. I feel this way about Pearl Jam. Only I'm really stoked that Ed Ved didn't blow his brains out. I mean I still get to see them live. That is fantastic. (You should check them out) Maybe you like them sooo much because you know that you will never get to experience a concert of theirs. Either way. You like it because you are you and it's the music that you like. Thank God you don't listen to rap.
