PPl have had twins for many years before the very common practice of c-sections. Dr's seem to hand out c-sections now like it's some easy way of birth. If you would not like a c-section talk to your dr. Tell him you want to try to do it the good old fasion way. Of course if you have the slightest complication then a c-section will be necessary but you should be fine to do it vaginally. Yeah you will be tired but it's a tiring process and usually #2 is a few minutes behind what is a few more minutes pushing? Nothing trust me once your in there.
Good luck and congrads!!

a c - section is a major op so it's prob best to avoid it. However if you really dont' think you will manage 2 babies vaginally speak to your doctor. It is worth remembering that if you have a c section you will take longer to recover which will be hard for you when you are up and down constantly with 2 babies
I'm sure that as you have a higher risk pregancy you will have more scans and what you do will depend on where your babies are lying and where the placenta is etc - which will show on the scans.
I have had 2 kids vaginally - no csections - but i personally would want to give it a go normally and if i couldn't never mind at least i had tried. Must remember tho that every woman is different - shape, pain threshold, energy, and each pregnancy is totally unique. My labours (albeit not twins) were farely short -7 and 3 hours and with the 1st i spent 5 mins pushing and the 2nd was a water birth - all of a sudden i felt her drop down and her head come out - then i remebered to pant and with the next contraction i pushed her straight out - but some women push for hours so just because your sister had a tiring time doesn't mean you will - good luck in whatever you decide

well i will say from my birthing experience i had a baby only one last tuesday o n the 4th july, after having her i was compleatly stuffed all i wanted to do was sleep sleep and more sleep i cudn't have possibly gone for another. BUT i had been pushing for about 4 n 1/2 hours and was in labor for over 24 hrs so i had been thro ALOT, also my bub was 8pounds and i cudn't get her shoulders out. so i wud say ur sister is right u'd be stuffed to push a second one out after doin it with the first the phyiscal pain and how tireing it is, but in saying that my aunty also had twins and she did a vaginal birth with the both. so i guess if you can do it and believe u can and they are at a ok weight not big and ur healthy and fit hunni go for the vaginal because as much as it hurt and u get really tired its a wonderful thing to go thro after u stop hurting days later lol a c-section they just riped the bubs out of yah and u don't get to experience the real thing

I have known several women that have had vaginal births with twins. Some didn't like it and some did. You also need to think of how good of shape your body is in. If you gain too much weight, or were not in shape before pregnancy natural will be hard on you, even if you were just having one baby. Talk to your doctor...also, think of how hard it will be to take care of two babies at home while recovering from surgery.

my mom had my twin and I by c-section because it was too hard on her body and plus they had to get my twin out first right away because she turned upside down while my mom was giving birth.
I think it is your choice on what to do. Also if you ask your doctor he/she can help you in making that decision.
