Christianity is about love and forgiveness, so I guess it depends on his attitude now. Does he want a divorce? Or does he promise to not cheat again and work things out? If he is not a Christian, then there is a place where the Bible talks about not being unfairly yoked, meaning joined with someone who does not accept Jesus. But, the Bible also talks about the husband coming to salvation through the wife's faith and prayers. She has to decide if there is any hope of his faithfulness in the future or if she needs to leave.
I hope kids are not involved, because it is always harder with kids.

I believe that adultery is the only grounds for divorce in a Christian marriage.

Yes, it is. But you will need to have solid proof and someone to back you up on the proof. This not only works in the christian arena but also other arenas. Adultery is still the #1 reason you can list as divorce reason.

Adultery is definitely considered a sin. Now as for divorce I would believe so. But either way she should not allow that and by staying she is allowing it to happen and saying it is ok for him to cheat all the time.

Adultery is supposedly the only grounds for divorce with Christians.
I believe in God and etc. but if I'm miserable, I'm getting a divorce!

If your friend wants to divorce and can prove adultery, most states will allow it. If she really believes in a christian philosophy, she should be able to, in time forgive him for one mistake.

Yes, she has two choices, either forgive him and never bring the incident up or divorce him. She should also seek help from her pastor to make sure that her church follows the same principles, not all churches are the same.
