I liked the idea of watching a character develop from a child into an adult, even getting married and having kids, who in turn grew up, etc, etc. Like most fans of the show, I think it peaked at the battle with Frieza. After that, it was all down hill from there. Even the creator thought so too, but it was a cash cow, he had to keep going!
DBGT was a bastardization of the franchise, a bit more bearable in it's original format than the American edition which scribbled a mustache and beard on an already horrible picture to begin with. I kinda wish anime and manga worked like american comics and cartoons; X-men had about two or three different cartoon iterations, I was kinda wondering what would happen if someone else were given the chance to reinterpret/remake the world of Dragonball...
Basically, most people see it as a good beginner anime and soon forsake it as childish once they've moved on to a more complex one. I see why they do that, but at the time, it was golden. I'm not afraid to admit that.

dragon ball is too perverted. Dragon Ball Z is better. I like dragon ball z starting from the trunks episodes. They're pretty interesting...

Its the best anime of all time and classic, but also a very drawn out anime. Ignore the GT sequel and you'll have a blast. If you watch it from beginning to end then you'll start getting the feeling like seeing old friends again as the characters from Dragonball show up in the sequel Z.

I like Dragon ball it tells you exactly how everything started for those who are obsessed with Dragonball Z. Dragonball has heart, drama, comedy, and pretty good fights.

It's cool but the fight scenes last for like 40 or 50 episodes. End it already!

I don't like it all. I think it came out because of Pokemon and Magic. Everything seems to revolve around those two.

I think it's over played and out dated. I used to like it but it's pretty stupid now. I guess cus Im 26 now so I grew out of it.
