No. In fact, now is the time to get pregnant for some women. The few days BEFORE your period. The Truth is, each woman’s cycle is as different and unique as she is.

Ovulation occurs at different times of the month for different women. It can occur as soon as day 6 (or earlier) or much later than on day 14. There are many factors involved when ovulation occurs.

If you want to get pregnant you need to be taking your temperature to figure out when you are ovulating.

Here is a website telling you how to check for this:

Also note, there are kits you can buy (just like pregnancy kits) to help you determine when is the right time to get pregnant.

Good luck.

It's never too late. There is always a chance of pregnancy when having unprotected sex. However your chances are lower. Do you have a regular 28 day cycle? If so, then you most likely ovulate (release an egg) about 14 days after the start of your period. Try having sex then. The egg is viable for only 24 hours but sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days. In case you don't have a regular 28 day cycle, try an ovulation detector.
Every one on here can give you approximate answers to your question but the best way to get precise answers or to get precise results would be to consult your doctor or try an ovulation detector. Good luck.

If you are regular and consistent (i.e. you have a period every 28 days), you probably ovulate around the 16th day. The egg is viable for about 2 days.

Assuming you have machine-like precision in your cycle, you would be OK. But stress, diet and other factors may cause you to ovulate late; so trying to use a rhythm method is like playing with fire. If you plan to use this method, you should look into taking daily temparature readings in the middle of your cycle so that you have a reasonable chance of ascertaining when ovulation has taken place.

Most likely, yes

Most women are most fertile about 2 weeks after the first day of your period, and are only fertile a short window of 2-3 days. (Sperm can live in the body for 5 days, so if you have sex a few days before this time you can still get pregnant)

Most likely it is because ovulation usually occurs 14-16 days before your period starts and the egg is only fertile for 24-48 hours. If you are wanting to get pregnant start having sex about 10 days after the first day of your next period and have sex every other day...not every day as too much sex can lower your partner's sperm count.

You can get pregnant at ANY time. The chances are less likely right now than say...when you first start ovulating...but you can still get pregnant right now.

no!! sometimes you're most prone to getting pregnant right before your period b/c that's when the egg is released. regardless, I hope you used a condom b/c that will cut your chances dramatically.
