Yes, of course.

Yes, it definitely does. Just yesterday, I was coming home from the city via train. These 2 African American girls (no older than 21) were walking through the car I was in and one said to the other something about how this woman had called her a "b****". Well, I guess the woman was right there. I didn't hear much until the African American girl said something like "What did you just say?! Did you just tell me to go back to my country! I can sue you for racism or something!" And she (with her friend) moved on to the next car. I did not see who the woman was that was telling her to go back to her own country, but that is pretty racist.

Racism does exist to a lesser extent than 30-40 years ago, but there will always be traits of humans and human societies, that will continue to contribute to egotism.

Yes, but it is better understood as pride. Pride is the root of racism. When you hear people talking about who or what is "best" they are essentially seeding racism. Bigotry is passed from one generation to the next, the same as virtues.

When America invades Iraq, for example, it is because we are overly proud that our system is "best," when in fact we are making the same mistakes as the people under everyother system. Pride blinds people; racism is a part of the blind pride and over-confidence that people have in their "group." Racism is a specific type of groupthink, but there are many styles of groupthink (sports teams, school spirit, political parties, brand names, nationalism, etc.) People get "stupid by association," rather than thinking about themselves and others as individuals.

um...yes
doing a quick google search turns up an alarming number of racist groups. or just watching some of the questions here or posts in the yahoo forums. but yes the scene is still very much alive and currently feeding off the whole illegal immigration issue that is so popular right now. for the sake of not wanting to advertise any of these groups in any way i'm not going to post a list of groups here.

yes. When I go to job interviews, I don't get hired, but Hispanic and black people do. They are always given a priority even though they say they being treated racist. oh, and by the way, I DO have the education and experience, sometimes they don't, yet they are being hired and promoted while others who worked there longer and have more experience are not. I do not mean to offend anybody, just stating what has been happening in my experience.

Racism will always exist. No matter how hard we try to get rid of it.
