Could have something to do with the words .... I mean you think about what kinds of protests there would be from the black community if a bunch of whites started coming up with lyrics that were the reverse of what blacks are singing today. Racism is a two way street.
And there are the facts that most whites don't understand where the rap songs are coming from, or what they mean.
Better watch out, pretty soon crazy *** whites are gonna be rappin and the brothers are gonna have to come up with something new... Think of country rap...

Well if you go to the site listed or put in a rap CD you may think that Rap music CAN be raciest but is not always? Put it into context, the word Honky is a raciest word to me.... being Caucasian,,, instead of blowing if off, i could wonder why a person would choose to use that term. I think people say this because most of the people who rap are black so people think that only black people can rap and white people can't so they say it's racist.

Lets see.........in many of the so called songs they talk about hating all whites, killing the police, raping your sister and committing insect.
Might make many think it is racist.
