The fastest missiles in the world are not in the world, they are interplanetary space craft. The fastest of those is the recently launched new horizons space craft that is now on it's way to Pluto. It left Earth at 35,000 miles per hour.
In comparison, antiaircraft missiles or even intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) are much slower. ICBMs go almost as fast, but not quite as fast as the space shuttle, which goes 17,500 miles per hour. Antiaircraft missiles are much slower than that, maybe about 5,000 miles per hour or slower.

The fastest "common" missile for space transportation is about mach 33 (>40'000km/h) for being able to leave the earth atmosphere and to bring fix satellites into an altitude of 35'888 km.
The missilies for the moon are same.
The fastest "war" missiles are around 26'500 km/h for a ballistic track onto their target.
For EADS and NASA are working on a missile for Mars flights, these will be some faster to shorten the travel.
But every missile wanting to leave the gravitation zone must have at last 40'000km/h (ca. 24'720 mp/h) to do so.
