Those that would say you're NOT Gay are most likely the same people who are encouraging their daughters and sons to date and meet the opposite sex at your age. I would wager if their son or daughter came to them and said they were straight they would find this very 'encouraging' and support them with great enthusiasm from that moment on.
Seems rather hypocritical to me.
I believe we are all born with a sexual predisposition. I knew I was Gay when I was younger than you. Odd that I'm still Gay -- now that I'm so old that I can reliably say that I knew dirt before 'He' did!
I would suggest you ignore those that throw any type of religious "teachings" at you, especially those who profess to be "Christian".
They are without doubt most ill-informed. They, the "teachings", are not products of a rational mind and you'd do well to avoid them at this young point in your life.
However, if you want to know what the bible of the Christians REALLY says about homosexuality, check out the link below. It will give you the other side of a Christian point of view.
At any rate, you have the rest of your life to realize who you are. During this journey make certain not to neglect all the fun and joy that is yours. When you make the decision to become sexually active with either males *OR* females ... ALWAYS PRACTICE SAFER SEX.
Best Wishes!

For the same reason they say I can't possibly be gay, or that being gay is a "choice". Some people just don't like who other people turn out to be, and will do anything to make their own hatred the other person's fault rather than admit they're the ones who have a problem that needs to be worked on.
The standard line to tell younger boys, which is most often correct, is it's very common for them to experience feelings of-- let's just say intimate feelings-- for the same sex and sometimes even act on them, until later in puberty when they're usually able to finally sort out if they really are gay or if those were just "growing pains". So, there's no big rush to making up your mind and announcing to the world who you are on the off chance it turns out your not.
To be perfectly honest, though, I also knew I was very gay by the time I was seven. The rest of my family had figured it out three years before that, and I'm not a femmy little limp-wristed stereotype. Played football, know martial arts, took shop, got into fights all the time and always won them, loving the violent video games guy. They still figured it out.
So, if you really, really know you're gay, then you've got the opinion that really, really counts... but if you want a second one, I hope you can be really, really happy being who you are, not what others want you to be, and get to be loved just for that.
Chin up, guy. There's a lot of hate out there, but a lot of love, too... and a little bit of that goes farther than all the hate in the world. =)

First off, ignore the answer from Davie and people like him (bigots you don't need), he's clearly lacking in any intelligence. Trying girls will not help you decide nor will comments by others in regards to your age.
Secondly, yes, it is possible you are simply questioning, but the truth is, ultimately you know yourself best of all. Enjoy what your life, body, mind and spirit are telling you. Let that be your guide. The proverb, "To thine own self be true" is the only help you will need.
If it will help you, I myself came out very young, I was 14 when I told my family, I was lucky because had the good fortune of being born into a French European life, as such, my revelation was not a problem.
One last point, the next time someone tells you your not gay, ask them point blank, how do they know? What authoritative fact do they have? Do they have a special esp to get inside your head? throw these and a few others in their direction, trust me when I say, it will smarten them up pretty quick.
Either way, good luck, be strong, but be yourself.

People cant accept that you know yourself that young. 13 is concidered the begining of puberty and thay think you are just having a faise.
They don't want to accept that you are gay and will use any excuse to prevent from accepting it. They will learn to accept it once you get older.
Don't worry about it. You know who you are and thats all that matters. I know that when I was 13, I began to suspect that I was gay and fell into believing that I couldn't be gay that long. But I know now that I am gay (Just turned 20), and know that I knew this since I was younger.

if you're certain of being gay... well, just don't mind what other people have to say about it! Some people simply have stupid ideas about homosexuality, and want to deny it or will try to 'change your mind'. Yet, there is nothing wrong with being gay, and it is very well possible that you've discovered you're gay while you're still young. I was a bit older (15) when I discovered I was gay, but hey, what's in a couple of years?
So... stick to your own feelings, don't let unknowing people patronize you!

I suspected that my son was gay when he was little, but waited for him to come out to me (he was 17). I believe that people are the way they are. It's hard, I know, when people try to "change" you, or tell you that you don't know what you're talking about. I hope that you have someone supportive to talk to. And, to answer some of your other answers, no, you don't have to have sex in order to know whether you are gay or straight. I am hoping that you will wait until you are older and more emotionally able to handle making that step. Wishing you the best.

Being gay means that the programming for breeding has malfunctioned in the body. Lots of people are born with the malfunction. The spirit follows the law of the universe and that is like attracts like, the spirit has no gender and would not connect sexually with the opposite sex, for that matter most hetero males would have nothing to do with females sexually if the drive for sex wasn't involved. Same for females. Men are from mars females are from venus has some validity to it on a level for which I won't go into here.

When it comes to some things, it really doesn't matter what others think. Sexuality is a private thing, I wouldn't discuss it with anyone whom you don't trust. As far as people saying you can't be gay, it sounds like they would rather you are not. The only one who truly understands what you are feeling is you. So stop worrying about others and live your life to make you happy. Stop trying to get validation from others, you don't need it.

Hang in there! Keep in mind that you're 13. Your hormones are going wild. Try to keep an open mind about yourself. You're too young to have to slap a label on yourself. Pay attention to how you feel when you look at girls and guys. People will want to label you soon enough. Don't rush yourself. If you're gay, that's fine. If not, that's fine too.

well, a lot of people think you are just too young to really know for certain. but how does someone straight know that they are straight before they have ever had experience?
you know how YOU feel. I do hope that you will wait until you are older before you become involved with anyone.
and those people also just don't WANT you to be gay. maybe they are homophobic, maybe they are worried about what that will mean for you.
be who you are and don't be ashamed!

I knew I was gay when I was 13 -- be who you are, because only you know what's in your heart and what's in you. And being true to yourself is the most important thing in life.
