I would discuss the situation with my boss and let him know that you and the other woman do not get a long. Just tell your boss that you promise to keep doing your best and if there is an area he is unhappy with to let you know exactly what that area is so that you can better yourself.
If it is all just people being stupid, they will not be able to tell you exactly what you are not doing, or what you are doing improperly. Without details, maybe your boss will also see that there is an issue, and it will be the other womans word against yours.

Be genuinely nicer to her. Perphaps then she'll release how mean she's being when it's not a mutual thing. Or if not, I'd start sending out applications to other jobs so that I'd have a backup for this job she's ruining. Push come to shove, talk to the boss and tell him the truth. If he doesn't believe you, he'll see who was really doing the work when you're not there and he's stuck with a halfbottom cleaning lady.

Don't let her get to you. You know you do your job well. Did your boss actually tell you to your face that you're not doing well? I'll be so far as to say it's your co-worker who is the real cause of the complaint. Even so, you've shown you're reliable, but if this woman is the cause of you losing your job, you have every right to sue for defamation of character.

First, discuss the situation with your boss, but try to leave emotions out of it. If this doesn't correct the situation, I suggest looking for a new position.
