I like using Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser. It's a cleanser, but also an exfoliate, which is safe to use every morning. The best why to use an exfoliate is to wet your face or other body part and apply the scrub rubbing in a circular motion, upward and out. I have a salt scrub that I use once a week in the shower, it's a special mix that I have that's mixed with lavender and vanilla. I bought it at a bath boutique. When I really want to treat myself, I'll go to a Thai spa and get a full body scrub.

Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells that accumulate on the skins surface naturally. Removing these dead cells makes skin smoother and more responsive to skin-care products such as moisturizers, etc.
I exfoliate with every shower using a natural loofah and body scrub. For the face, there are special products or 'scrubs' that contain particles which help to remove dead skin cells. The best, in my opinion, is Neutrogena daily facial scrub. It's gentle on the skin (doesn't dry it out) but it exfoliates and cleans.
You can also exfoliate on the beach by rubbing your body down gently with some sand.

you get a good cleanser one with some grainey substance in it. Like I use a body one that has cucumber/melon in it with a bunch of little grainey things. I use that to wash my body before I do self tanner...it helps remove dead skin. Use a good new sponge. For your face use something a little more gentlier they make exfoliating products for your face...same type of consisentcy but not so rough for sensistive face skin. You should do it at least 1 to 3 times a week...depending on how your skin is.
Personally mine is pretty sensitive so I exfoliate my face weekly with a marykay mask and I exfoliate my body about twice a week.
Hope that helps. If you have extremely oily skin then you could do it more frequent.

Sugar scrub. Hands down--there is nothing out there that will exfoliate as well as it does. Try bath and body works Aromatherapy Sugar Scrub. Its $20 for the tub. A little spendy, but worth every single penny. Try the Orange Ginger. Its awakening and uplifting. You will love it.

You can either use a face scrub, 3 in 1 cleansers which cleans, exfoliates and re freshens or for deeper exfoliation you can use microdermabrasion kit. I love Mary Kay micordermabrasion set, use it twice a week, it leaves the face very smooth. there is a free sample off which you can try http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/default.aspx

Mix some brown sugar in a bowl with a few drops of lemon juice. Stir, then put the mixture on whatever it is that you are trying to exfoliate. Rub then rinse...followup with your fave lotion.
