First of all, you must decide what kind of girl you are. Silly, but true. Yes, being girl is as unique as any other person out there, but who did you feel was the most attractive? The sporty girls with their pony-tails and sweats, or the preppy girls with their Banana Republic and Eddie Bauer jeans?
Not that any of this really matters but for you to get a sense of fasion.
Now look in the mirror. Do you have a cool-toned skin or a warm-tones skin? What about your hair? Almost always if you have cool skin you'll have cool hair, but NOT always. I have a cool skin tone with warm-tones hair. Which isn't great when it comes to picking colors.
You can find this out by putting paper up to your skin--use white, then shades of yellow, red, pink, blue . . . whichever your underlying skin tone matches will answer this question.
Next is eye color. Do you have brown eyes, black eyes, grey eyes or green? This is also important, especially when it comes to make-up. Unless you have dark eyes, you're NOT going to want to use black mascara or eyeliner. Try brown or grey.
And what is the shape of your face? Squarish, round, oval, heart-shaped? This will be a BIG help in how you want to style your hair. You really won't want to go for really long hair, for example, if you have a long face.
A lot of these tips come intuitively to teens, gleaned form magazines and friends. More speciffics will be a big help in determining what styles will be most becoming on you.

Well...Its quite simple...Try skirts tops or anything from a ladies shop. If u dont know what to choose u can buy magazines. There isnt a ladies magazine that doesnt have trends ,tips or whatever u need 4 ur transformation. Now it is also a matter of your own style... U can be a cool girl and wear all the new styles and clothes and especially accessories. Or u can choose a more ''nasty'', original or manly kind of style . I cant tell 4 sure what u have to change in ur wardrobe, cause im not there to tell 4 sure, but try asking someone u have confidence in and will not laugh, bcoz there are so many things u should consider! Good luck1

what you could do is keep some of your style while incorporating his taste of style in with it. that way you dont have to change as much and you wont need as much help. try wearing black pants maybe, (maybe slightly more fitted if you tend to go with baggy clothes) with a colorful shirt. or any kind of bright necklace that really pops can change a whole outfit even if the outfit is mostly dark colors. your could do that kind of thing until you get the hand of it and then kind of progress until you find some style that both of you like (just slowly add more color and less blck until you find a balance) as for the makeup the first step is eyeliner. if you have black hair then keep using black eyeliner but maybe just only use it on the top or bottom so that its not as much if you have lighter hair i suggest using a dark brown or brown eyeliner so that its not so bold. also using less will help there too. after a while try using just a neutral colored eyeshadow with maybe a little shine, and maybe one day try a pinkish color but nothing more. really its all about taking it one step at a time so that you arent changing completely at once! then you can decide where you are happy! hope i helped and good luck!! p.s you dont have to change for him but if you want to cuz hes worth it to you then more power to ya!!!!!

Wow! Big change, Listen up. I am the only black person at my school who takes risks in fashion. I rocked a mohawk, wore knee -high socks with shorts, and I usually only rock two brands of clothing; Ecko and Sean John. Wear clothing comfortable to you. Don't roc something because it's "in". The in fashion for girls this summer is Jordans, Air Forces, and beatiful Payless slippers or sandals. Stunna shades or Fat sunglasses is a must along with bright colors like lime green or orange. Wear clothes that compliment you. If you a little thick, don't go wearing tight jeans. UUUghh.

Hit the magazine stands at Barnes & Noble, where they won't give you a hard time for looking and not necessarily buying. Find your own style by figuring out what you like, then try things on to see what looks best on you. Don't wear things just because they seem "girly" because they might not look good on you. Also, one of the best people you can have working in your corner is a great tailor. For things that won't fit quite right, he/she will work wonders for a small investment. Just make sure you find one who is open-minded and won't judge you. Good luck.
