My least favorite music is trance and heavy metal.
Trance and Heavy metal are so boring and seem to have no melody and/or harmony. I just cannot enjoy and/or relate to it. Basically, I am a music lover and willing to listen and learn about all kinds of music except for the above.

New Age Jazz (Kenny G, et.al) really gets on my nerves. Whenever I hear it, I wanna break something.
Also, I don't consider RAP to be music at all. No one plays any instruments, the beat/tune is "sampled from some other musician/band, and, most of the songs are just self promotion for the rapper. (How good he is, how much "bling" he has, how many people he's shot...)
Gimme a break!

My least favorite is bluegrass or country, and Christian. Ack! Pop sucks... rap sucks... oh and um... easy listening crap.
My favorite types or genres are emo, screamo, hardcore, indie, Gothic, alternative, rock, techno, and metal. <33
