Yes AIM is free but loaded with AOL Adds, and there own form of spyware.
I suggest MSN Messenger or Yahoo messengers. and to ask your friends to switch. (Or Google Messenger)That's right, have them switch! I would have anything but AIM on my computer.
AOL has single handedly polluted the minds of the public so bad it should be against the law.
Soon MSN and Yahoo messenger will be able to communicate with each other and phones and anything connected. (AIM will be left in the dust)

Go to AOL.com and find the link for the AIM service.
Click on it and then follow the instructions for downloading and installing.

Yes, and if you don't what the AOL version that is loaded with adverts and other goodies aimed at selling you products download the open source version called gaim which is created by the people for the people.
