Okay, whenever I do my nails it looks really crappy and then the next day it chips off. My mom said that I can go to the nail salon, but I have to pay for it myself. It love french manicured tips, and I was thinking I might get that. It's $15 dollars to get your nails done, and then you can get touch ups, where they completely re-do your nails, for fourteen dollars. Do you think it's worth it? Or should I go nude with my nails?

I dont think it worth paying $15 for nails. You can take good care of your nails at home. Just keep your nails clean and save $15.
Use nail polish if you like to color it. have a nice day.

Yes. They will look beautiful. If it makes money very tight though, you might want to do them yourself and you can always change your mind and take them off but then they will be thin for a while while they grow out, since the nail techs sand your real nails down to put the overlay on.

On the other hand, Sally Beauty Supply sells top coats that are the same as the salons use for manicures and this will keep your polish on longer. Both are good to know.

Going to the salon is definitely worth it, in my opinion. It isn't about having good-looking hands, it's about the luxury of having the service performed for you. Having a manicure provides a great opportunity to relax. However, I don't like the way manicurists shape my nails, so I file them myself at home and don't let them do it. They do tame my cuticles, making my hands and nails look nicer and well-groomed.

As for the French manicure, I'm not an advocate for them. In fact, French women don't wear nail polish like that! Take a look at the selection of polishes at the salon and go from there. You'll know what you want after you've had a chance to look. Enjoy!

I think the best (besides French manicure) is a clear coat of nail polish. Looks clean and fresh. I love going to the salon, but if you feel that you're going to ruin your nails in a few days, then don't go. If you think they're gonna last.. then go for it.

nude or american manicure is great fro summer! for some reason an american manicure lasts longer... also you could change salons... they might not even be doing a good job! go around and find a good manicurist by asking for a nail polish change and see how they do... theyre only like $5 and whne you like the manicure...put an extra coat of clear nail polish to make it last longer!..if you live in costa mesa i know 3 girls that do it GREAT!!

certain, genuine gels are nicely worth it. If the salon makes use of any powder even as employing your gels, they're not genuine gel nails. i have were given gels immediately and they offer the effect of being a useless ringer for my nails except nicer (i'm a nail biter.) i do not oftentimes placed on polish, even if the tech layered it like this: gel, gel, white assistance, gel. So, now I have everlasting white assistance and that i do not might want to debris with polish each and every few days if i do not want to. besides, gels are shiny and not in any respect uninteresting like familiar acrylics.

Yes it is. They will last longer and they look great.Trust me. i got a pedicure once and it lasted for about two months. If you want to take the color off just use nail polish remover and it will come of so easy.

It's worth it to me!!! I love getting manicures and also pedicures in the summertime. Try saving a little extra for a pedicure once a month. SO worth it! :)
