If you take care of it and maintain it the way you're supposed to...don't drive it too hard, it'll last forever! I used to have a 1988 Accord with over 200K miles on it, it ran perfect until some stupid lady ran into the front of me.

my 2002 Accord V6 has 160,000 miles on it. My car still runs pretty dang good. I get my oil change and tires rotated on a routinely basis. But that is just like with any care, you take care of it and it will last you forever. I usually get my services done at Honda dealerships but a local place will do just fine also.

Even with good care, the powers that be can ruin a good car. My accord ran 200k, but that's driven up and down California twice a week. The engine and trany finally went, and I had them both replaced, and this one has lasted me 240k. If you take care of the car, it wont fall apart, and although you can't help engine ware, they are pretty cheap to replace.

It can last for a long time! I have a 96 with only 128K miles. I heard that I have a long time to drive it before it dies. Also I take very good care of it.

I know of one that made it over 400K miles. It was pretty ragedy in the end, but it chugged along. Like anything else, abuse it, it will wear out quickly, take care of it and it will last you a lot longer. Never underestimate the importance of keeping your oil changed.

If you do routine maintenance, 250k bare minimum. Usually the body will fall apart before the motor quits.
