CORRECTION: I think you mean "Garbage Pail Kids" which is a spin off from Xavier Robert's "Cabbage Patch Kids". Cabbage Patch Kids are soft bodied dolls with vinyl heads and yarn hair, very popular when I was a kid back in the late 80's and early 90's as well as expensive; now they are pretty affordable. The Garbage Pail Kids are a parody of the Cabbage Patch Kids. Quite funny knock offs, although I've never seen a doll made. I was an avid card collector which showcased various disgusting images of a dysfunctional doll.

I think this is either a cabbage patch kid or a garbage pail kid.
Cabbage patch kids is a doll that was popular when I was a kid in the 80's and they were born in a cabbage patch.
Garbage pail kids are stickers with normal peoples names made into nasty names with yucky pictures... like Starvin Marvin and it had a picture of an emaciated cartoon kid. I collected these stickers for years.

I think you may mean "Garbage Pail Kid"? They were trading cards back in the 80s that have come back with gross little children on them. They have disgusting names, too. I've seen the cards recently at Wal-Mart.
Either that or you're thinking of Cabbage Patch Kids, which, same thing, were HUGE in the 80s and have made a comeback.
You can do a Yahoo/Google search on both and check them out.

Are you sure it's not a Garbage Pail Kid? They used to make trading cards with these little kids (they looked like Cabbage Patch Kids) being mutilated in really nasty ways.

Sounds like you are getting Cabbage patch kids ( which is a doll, and i think also had a cartoon and a fun old game for colecovision,) and garbage pail kids ( which were kind of a funny and sick spoof of the cabbage patch kids, which i think also had a tv cartoon but mostly had collecting cards/stickers.) Mixed up.

Hmm...are you sure you're not mixing up words? When i was growing up there were cabbage patch kids, and also garbage pail kids. Haven't seen garbage pail kids in YEARS, but cabbage patch kids are definitely still around. I don't think they've ever been "out!"

I think you might have two types of doll mixed up. Cabbage Patch Dolls were very cute, dimpled dolls that were super popular with kids in the eighties. Garbage Pail Kids were a sort of "evil twin" ir twisted version of the Cabbage Patch dolls.

Garbage Pail Kids are sinister, disgusting collectible cards mocking Cabbage Patch Kids. I have a bunch of them from 6th grade (1986) when they were reallly popular. Heard they've recently made a comeback...
