If you don't believe in God then it isnt against him...I don't see a problem with it..i think there are way more important things to worry about in American then Gay people being in love and getting married...I mean straight people can't even stay married nor Keep a family together without divorce or cheating...so i mean who cares.

It doesn't matter if your straight or gay...that has nothing to do with keeping a marriage together. Gay couples break up just like straight ones do.
Although I against gay marriage for the same reason, it doesn't really matter what we the people think. Eventually it will be allowed. It is just showing us that we are getting that much closer to the end.

Well, God never told me he doesn't like gays.
I believe love has no barriers, nor sex, nor culture. People can love anyone, why can't we accept that what may look right to us, can look wrong to others?
What is marriage?
An institution, created by mankind to "legally" connect two people and recognize their "love".
There are so many marriages that are not based on love, why should we be against love?
There is a social issue. Gay partners cannot have access to health insurance of the partners or any other benefits that usually are extended to spouses.
Anyway accepting their union is not as we are saying its right or wrong, just accepting that it exists, after all, not being able to get "legally" married won't stop them.
Love is all that should matter, not the sex of the parts.

Where in the bible does it say gay marriage is bad? I have never seen it. God is the creator of each and ever person in this world right? Thats what all you catholics believe. Why would God make people out to fail? HE didn't. Each person in the whole intire world was given a unique trait. No 2 people are the same. No ONE and I mean NO ONE is any better off in GODS eyes than another. If He felt that way... Then why did HE not make each person a POPE?
It doesn't matter what sex you perfer, what you do for a living, what you do with your free time, what country you live in, what color you are... AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY AND LIVING YOU LIFE TO YOUR FULLEST GOD (IN MY OPINION) LOVES YOU AND WILL ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE B/C HE MADE YOU THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Divorce is against God...but it's allowed and I'm betting that someone in your family has been divorced. So many things in the Bible "aren't allowed" but you still do them and so does everyone else. Why single out homosexuality? Because that's the one "safe" area for you? You know you're not gay so you'll villify the homosexuals because everything else would make YOU a target as well?

It shouldn't be allowed. Yes it is against God. The bible clearly speaks against same sex relationships. To those who question as to where it speaks about this... Romans chapter 1 verses 26-32. That's all I have to say. There is the proof!!!

why are religious people so controlling? not to mention narrow-minded. if god is so forgiving and so loving, any individual's sexual orientation shouldn't matter. live and let live. if you don't want to marry a homosexual you don't have to. leave them alone. marriage should be legal between any two consenting adults. what does it matter to you anyway? are you god? i am so sick of this question. it's ridiculous. let's worry about more important things, like war, hunger, the crime rate, national deficit, pollution, child molesters and child pornography. just to mention a few. get a life!

it shouldnt be allowed as the traditional sense of marriage it makes a mockery out of it but they should be allowed to have something that reckognises their union legally
