How exactly is it walmarts fault? I don't really see how you can justify suing a company for falling in their store. It's so wrong. It just shows how many money hungry people there are in our society. Now I do apologize if by chance one of their employees happened to push you down or maybe a display fell on you. If that is the case than I apologize.
I knew a lady that fell down outside Leon's (furniture store) parking lot in the middle of winter. Snow, ice....blah blah blah. Anyways, she was pregnant and she sued leon's and won 10,000 dollars because apparently her baby didn't move for two days. Mind you the baby was just fine. I don't understand how the law allows this? Canada...winter....ice....snow..... If your pregnant, watch what your doing and be careful. Use some common sense! This topic really makes my blood boil. There are waaaaayyyyyy to many greedy people on this planet!

I really don't think they'll just settle. I was just watching courttv the other day about the mother that is suing walmart because her daughter was molested in the store by one of the employees. Walmart's policy was to not do background checks and employee had been to jail for 6 other incidents of molestation, he flashed some other woman's daughter in a store located in the same shopping complex & when that woman found out he worked in walmart she notified a manager (this happened about a week before the plaintiffs daughter was molested in the store so if walmart had have taken action he would not have been there to molest her there) so the mother was suing for negligance. They lost!

Wal-Mart is famous for never paying off nuisance lawsuits. They'll make you go to court. In other words, if you were severely injured and they were negligent you can hit a home run in court. On the other hand, they won't just pay you some money to go away.
If you were in the store looking for someone rather than trying to buy something why are they responsible? They'll fight you and I think you'll end up with nothing.

Wal Mart is not going to lie down. Make absolutely sure you want to go through with this to conclusion. Speak to the best personal injury attorney in your state where the accident happened. Then interview two more attorneys. You can do it on contigency basis.
Good luck

I think the unions have sued on behalf of the "associates" for labor law issues.
I would bet they have had their share of slips in the isle-ways as well!
Ask the wal-mart greeter they want you to have a nice day.

They will base it on your injuries, a boy I know needed 12 stitches(on his leg) from a cut he recieved on a walmart shelf that was broken and exposed and after they paid for medical expenses they recieved 10,000 and signed a document that says they can't sue later on.

It all depends on what the injury was and how many times you went to the doctor........most likely if you arent asking for millions they will settle out of court

Another fine example of what is wrong with society today.
Depends on how you were injured, who was at fault, the circumstances, witnesses, etc...
Speak with a lawyer.
