Do professional baseball players still wear real stirrup socks?

Do amateurs? If yes, how high? People seem to be wearing solid colred ones these day. Also, what do you think about red stirrups on black "sanitaries"?

I think not, although some individual players go to the trouble of wearing tall socks and folding their pants up in a special way to hold them. They go to about mid-calf when they do this.

I think they should all play with stirrup socks, it just makes them look like baseball players.

Not many MLB players do...although I would love to see it become mandatory.
