I'm not sure exactly what your questions is but if I understand it right you could use SSL VPN. It's a tunnel that makes a virtual desktop on your computer so that no viruses/worms make it onto the VPN. The maker that we use is made by Juniper Networks

vtunnel.com is a great website, you can get on ANY blocked wesite. as long as they don't block vtunnel afterwards, like they did at our school
