I would die for any member of my immediate family without question and others in life if I felt it was going to save other lives as well. As for the hereafter, I believe life is like the universe, infinite.

If there was no other alternative, I would absolutely die for someone.
I would die for my husband and especially for my kids.
Why?.... Because I value their lives more than I do my own.
Especially my kids.
I've lived a relatively long life.... they should have a chance to do the same.
As a parent, you make all sorts of sacrifices for your family.
That's part of taking a responsibility to have a family in the first place.
I have no death wish. But if it came down to me or them, I wouldn't hesitate.
As far as an afterlife?
I don't know.
The closest thing I believe in is that there is a circle of life.
You're born, you live, you die. Everything alive does.
It's not scary, it's just the way it is.
As for the soul? Where does it go?
I don't know the answer to that.
But I do think that all living creatures have them, not just us humans. Why does anyone think that just humans are special?
It's that same mentality that has caused millions of deaths throughout history. Humans think they are better than any other living thing. And within the human race, each religion thinks it has the one and only answer. Quite frankly, I think it's ridiculous.

I'm glad I am alive to enjoy life and my family, but no, I'm not scared of dying. Does a bird or a lion waste it's life being scared of dying? I think not. It's too busy "living".

I would say any parent out there would have to answer yes to this question. If it meant the life of your child or your childs well being how could you not. I have an 8 yr old daughter and I would do ANYTHING for her happiness and continued success. k
Afterlife.... I would like to believe in reincarnation but no... I don't really. I would also like to believe in heaven... Maybe I do... but I don't think so. They are nice ideas. Better than being put into a hole in the ground. But whats the point. What would you really do in heaven. Would it be like here on earth. The thought of working for eternity does not seem heaven sent. Or if there isn't work. The thought of doing nothing everyday for eternity doesn't seem like much either now does it.

Dying for someone you believe in (love, my kids, parents) without hesitation if it comes upon me.

I have witnessed an old couple being married for 35 years, they were on the jetty and the her wife slipped and fell into the water, the husband also jumped in even though non of them new how to swim.

I don't believe in afterlife, if so, what happen to those in the eg greek times, Egyptian Pharaos, or the Alexandre the great where gods were in the form of sculpture, how do you think of them now? even though there were priest who dedicated their whole life on temples at that time with so many GODS, where will they go now?

Now it seems we have made GOD invisible instead of marble and statues.

But the beuty of this world, you belive whatever makes you content with

Have a kid. It gets a lot easier to understand that there are more important things than yourself when a young life means so much to you.

As far as afterlife goes... consciousness is real to us. It's hard to think that it just *poof* disappears when our physical bodies die. I'd like to believe that it does not but who knows for sure? Either way I'm happy with what I have right now.

Yes I would willingly die for my children, because they are my life. I do believe in the afterlife but not in the going to heaven version.

I am not sure about the afterlife, I think I will see when it is so far. And yes, I would die for the person I love. I wouldn't have thought that three years ago, it would have sounded just silly and stupid but not anymore. You ask why? becasue I didn't care about my life about anything, didn't even want to life and saw no happines or joy in life till i met him. He makes me smile, he makes me love him like I never loved anyone before...I wasn't even sure if love existed. Life wihtout him just doesn't make sense and when you love this much you would do anything for the person you love even if it means to sacrifice your life and it is not that I am just saying it I actually would die for him, whitout hasitation. He is worht it.

I don't think anyone can really know unless or until called upon to do so, but yes, I think I would.

Why? Good question. Utter selflessness, I guess.

And I do believe in an afterlife.
