Come on, Big cats in England. I don't think so. A linx isn't black, it's brown and it's small, and will run away from humans, a panther, HA. Someone's having you on. A large predator cat roaming the English counrtyside. What's it gonna eat. Farmers would be all over that. No Way!

I have heard rumours that there is 2 large cats roaming the Yorkshire countryside. Lincolnshire is not far from Yorkshire and I would think that a large cat could cover the distance in a short period of time.

Reports in local newspapers put truth to these claims by saying that a number of farmers in the same area have constantly found their sheep killed and ripped to bits. To add futher truth investigators have found paw prints similar to those of a large cats have been found in snow.

My friends also said they saw two sets of large green eyes starring at them on a farm track late one saturday evening. I think that they were joking but to this day they claim that they were telling the truth.

So yes it is quite possible that there are big cats in Lincolnshire as well as any other part of the United Kingdom

probably similiar to sightings of a lynx in warwickshire, I have seen the pictures that were supposed to show a cat "bigger than a labrador" - actually just a really fat ginger cat, about half the size of a labrador. Don't believe the hype, specially in places where there is nothing to do apart from make up big cat stories.

Supposed to have been one in the Market Rasen area, supposedly seen several times, but I was always a bit sceptical. I lived there for many years, and never saw anything myself, despite living only a couple of miles from where it had been seen
